My experience while preparing my oral exam (Corrected) Since we had the topic for the second oral exam I got so excited because I love to teach things from what I know. My first idea was about a tutorial on “How to dance Salsa: The basics” but for some reasons I wasn´t able to do it. So, the new idea that I picked up (choose) was “E-Learning: Using a Platform for an online course” because I was a tutor in PrepaNET last semester, which is the open school of the Tec system, and I saw some difficulties with the students when they had to send their homework or a message to their classmates (members of their team) despite they already had experience in the system. Thus, my tutorial is not only for new students but also for those whose don’t remember the basics of the platform (in this case, BlackBoard). While I was making the tutorial I felt so good because I had the idea to help students in their courses because sometimes they dropped out (quit a class) some of them without any reason (I think that it was because they don’t understand how the system works or just because the course is difficult). So, in order to help them to figure out (understand) how the system works I created the tutorial in the easiest way that I could find. I think that it was relatively easy to make the video, maybe because I already have lots of experience in platforms though all my classmates have it too. Nonetheless, just to back them up (support), I will present these video on the next class and expect either good or bad reactions from my classmates because I understand that the tutorial could be boring but every day is a new opportunity to learn something new and these is what I want for my buddies.
